I agree with Howse. I believe there is a God in heaven who created heaven and earth. He is sovereign and holy, and He is the God of the Bible. Each person must decide if they are going to be believe in Creator-God or reject Him. His Word is true and outside of His truth there are only lies. God controls the seasons and the climate. Evolution is too unbelievable. The odds and likelihood of all necessary events to result in this perfectly balanced universe is ridiculous. Global warming claims are trickery used to divert funds to other people and nations. God and God alone sustains each person in life and determines their eternal fate in death. Don't let arrogance blind you to the truths revealed in God's word. His Word states that in order to have eternal life we must repent of our sins and believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. Outside of submitting to God's will, we have no hope of salvation. God does not change, His does not waver. Therefore, truths 2,000 years ago are truths today. Every word in Scripture will come to pass. Every human will one day die. The most important thing any of us can do is to be in right relationship with God. This journey begins on our knees and in His Word, the Bible. God bless.

He sometimes does come across as a pretty elaborate Poe... or at least as a hyperbolic huckster... but he's got so many people backing him up and I'm pretty sure that there are TONS of people who buy what he's selling, so I'm not sure.

And I'm with you about Ray Comfort. I've never had any doubts that he believes what he's preaching... although I sometimes question his willful ignorance on evolution. ;-)

I'm not entirely convinced Howse is serious. I debate with myself on just how much of what someone like Ray Comfort says is sincere, and I always end up concluding that he is probably sincere about most of it. With Howse, however, I lean towards pure con artist.
