Many of those you would put in the "fundamentalist, anti-intellectual, anti-education, etc., etc.," camp have more education and far, far more information than you have. You are the "antithesis" of those you put down. You believe what you read without going to the trouble of digging into the vast amount of information available today. There are many opinions as to how to interpret the information science is compiling today......and many well educated, much studied scientist would not agree with your very small opinion.
