"God does not change, His does not waver. Therefore, truths 2,000 years ago are truths today."

I dunno. Yahweh seems to go through some strong mood changes in the Bible, from wrathful to nice back to wrathful.

Seriously, however, it's not just Yahweh's temperment that changes in the scriptures. Even a superficial glance at the Bible shows a deity who changes and evolves, from Abraham's tribal deity, into the Hebrew's national deity, into a universal deity in the New Testament. God's interactions with humans change as well, from a being who literally walked with Adam and Eve to a more abstract and distant deity later in the texts.

I especially like the quote "I choose God and true biblical religion over any and everthing this world has to offer."

If there was a god that created this world, then the world itself is the truest representation of what that god is like, what he does, and what he wants. Thus, to believe ANYTHING over the world is to reject the god himself. Immediate and total self contradiction.
